Sacraments

Sacraments are outward signs of inward grace, instituted by Christ for our sanctification.

  1. Sacrament Of Baptism

    Infant Baptism

    Parents and Godparents are required to attend the pre-baptismal programme prior to Baptism. Please register at the parish offi ce six months prior to the baptismal rite. There will be six baptismal rites in the months of January, March, April, July, September and November during the year.

    Children/Youth Baptism

    Youth and children who are interested in the Catholic faith can join the Rite of Christian Initiation of Youth (RCIY) or Rite of Christian Initiation of Children (RCIC) accordingly. Please contact the Faith Formation Ministry or obtain brochures at the parish office.

    Adult Baptism

    Adults who are interested or would like to know more about the Catholic faith are warmly invited to join the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA). Please contact the RCIA Ministry or approach any priest for assistance.

  2. Sacrament of Confirmation

    Teens who have had a continual parish catechism will be prepared to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation at the age of 15 years old. Please contact the Catechetical Ministry. For youths who have not attended any parish catechism classes previously and now wish to receive the Sacrament of Confi rmation, please contact the Faith Formation Ministry.

  3. Sacrament of Holy Anointing

    Please contact the parish office to arrange for a priest to administer this Sacrament.

  4. Sacrament of Holy Eucharist

    First Holy Communion is normally celebrated by children who are in Primary Three. They have to be registered with the Catechetical Ministry in Primary One to prepare them for this Sacrament. For children/youth (above Primary Three) who have not attended any parish catechism class and wish to receive First Holy Communion, please register with the Faith Formation Ministry.

  5. Sacrament of Holy Matrimony

    Arrangements for church wedding should be made at least six months in advance of the intended wedding date. This would give the couple ample time to attend the Marriage Preparation Course (MPC) or Engage Encounter (EE). For an application form and booking of wedding date, please contact our parish office.

  6. Sacrament of Holy Orders

    Please contact the parish office to arrange to speak to a priest; or contact the Parish Vocation Promotion Team.

  7. Sacrament of Reconciliation

    Priests are available for confession 30 minutes before each weekend mass or by appointment during the week.
