Our Programme
Church of the Holy Spirit Kindergarten is a registered kindergarten with the Ministry of Education, Singapore. We conduct a three-hour programme from Monday to Friday for 10 weeks per term. There are altogether four terms inclusive of all public holidays, school holidays and holidays gazetted by the Ministry of Education, Singapore
Our Curriculum
The curriculum is based on a thematic approach integrated into the two main languages: English and Mandarin. The learning areas are Language Arts, Phonics, Mathematics, Discovery Science, Physical Exercise, Music and Movement, and Art and Craft.
Spiritual and Moral Values are inculcated through weekly Bible Stories and children’s hymns. Children learn the relevant concepts and skills through structured activities, learning corners, cookery, outdoor and indoor play, and field trips.
Our curriculum aims to help children to express themselves; communicate with their peers; interact with a variety of prints and symbols; develop self-help skills, and build self-confidence.
Eligibility
Nursery: turning 4 years
Kindergarten 1: turning 5 years
Kindergarten 2: turning 6 years
School Hours
1st Session Monday to Friday, 8:15a.m. to 11:15a.m
2nd Session Monday to Friday, 11:30a.m. to 2:30p.m
Transport
Our kindergarten has a bus service that runs along these main routes: Sembawang, Yio Chu Kang, Tagore, Yishun, Ang Mo Kio, Toa Payoh, Bishan, Sin Ming, Shun Fu, Upper Thomson.
